Midland Microfin Ltd. is committed to the upliftment of communities beyond microfinance, striving to empower individuals and foster sustainable development. Through various CSR initiatives, including education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and community development projects, we aim to create a lasting positive impact and promote social well-being. With the help of Midland Foundation, we extend our efforts to work for the upliftment of the underprivileged and marginalised, furthering our commitment to their empowerment and well-being.
The company’s strategy focuses on integrating community development, social responsibility, and environmental responsibility into its operations. We encourage all our business units and functions to consider these aspects and incorporate them into our operations. Our different CSR projects are conducted as per/within the ambit of Schedule VIII of the Companies Act, 2013.
Crisis Relief
In response to the devastating fire in Darbhanga, Bihar, Midland Foundation provided Food Staple Kits through Dalsinghsarai, Rosera, and Jandaha branches. Committed to supporting those in need, we stand with affected families, offering relief and hope during these challenging times.
Bacchat-Ki-Or-Kadam
Midland Foundation launched “Bacchat-Ki-Or-Kadam” to promote financial empowerment through saving habits, financial literacy, and group growth. Commitment to Rural Health and Safety - Mosquito Racquet
Mosquito Racquet: Midland Foundation, in collaboration with Midland Microfin Ltd., introduced the Mosquito Racquet, an eco-friendly solution to empower rural women and promote healthy living.
This CSR initiative aims to prevent rural families from mosquito-borne diseases, reflecting a commitment to sustainable living and community upliftment.
Health, Hygiene & Hope - A Wellness Initiative For Rural Women
In partnership with Midland Microfin Ltd., Midland Foundation has launched a transformative initiative to enhance the health and hygiene of rural women. As part of this effort, we distributed Happy Taps, providing women with practical solutions to maintain better hygiene and overall well-being. This initiative not only empowers women to prioritize their health but also fosters cleaner, healthier communities, ultimately improving the quality of life in rural areas.
